Allied Founders one of the oldest foundries based in the city of Belgaum, Karnataka. They were established in 1968. They manufacture and exports Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, precision machine components, and assembles to original equipment manufacturers (OEM’S) throughout the world. The foundry has a fully automated sand plant Contributing to the environment and reduction in the electricity cost to curtail cost burden, made the Allied Founders switch to sustainable development by installing grid-connected rooftop solar at their premises.
The capacity of the grid-connected rooftop solar power plant installed at Allied Founders, Belgaum, is 125kWp, has been constructed using high quality 380 Wp polycrystalline solar PV modules from one of India’s top module manufacturer RenewSys.100 kW high efficiency SUNGROW on-grid solar inverter enabled with online monitoring which will help to understand and track real-time electricity production and consumption on the go. The Company went for the Capex model and the solar plant was commissioned on 4th September 2020.

The increase in air pollution from the burning of fossil fuels and cutting down trees has adversely affected our environment.
